Sponge Paint A Wine Bottle

Supplies:
clear wine bottle
3 colors of paint
glitter of your choice
Modge Podge
rubbing alcohol
clear coat spray
sea sponge
foam brush

Directions:

1. Remove the label by soaking the bottle in hot soapy water for 2 hours.
2. Peel and rub until the label comes off.
3. Use rubbing alcohol to remove any oil and residue.
4. Using the foam brush, paint a background color, then let it dry.
5. Sponge first color of paint then let it dry.
6. Sponge second color of paint then let it dry.
7. Mix glitter with Modge Podge on a paper plate using a toothpick or any stirrer
8. Using the foam brush, apply the Modge Podge then let it dry.
9. Apply a second coat of Modge Podge.
10. Let it sit for 2 days, then spray the clear coat to seal.

I used a paper towel wadded up instead of a sea sponge. I was experimenting and I'm happy to say it turned out well.
